The recent girls golf tournament at Sunnehanna Country Club saw an impressive showing, highlighted by Hollidaysburg’s Crosby Denis capturing a tie for second place with a score of 76.

Westmont Hilltop's dominant performance secured them the girls team title, a testament to their experienced roster and season-long focus.

Penn Cambria’s Mikayla Durbin kept local hopes high, finishing seventh with a solid 89, while Central Cambria teammates Maddie Dumm and Bella Mesoras rounded out the top ten.

On the boys side, the boys golf tournament produced a dramatic finish with Bishop Guilfoyle Academy’s Grant Okonak and Central’s Cody Clapper sharing third place honors at 73 amidst a tight leaderboard.

State College emerged victorious in the boys team standings, while Bishop Guilfoyle and Penn Cambria delivered strong performances, reinforcing the county's competitiveness on the regional stage.

Yet Cambria Heights’ girls squad turned the tables in their matchup with Tyrone, eking out a well-fought 3-2 victory thanks to Ariel Smithmyer’s determined play.
