Doin’ DonutsDoin’ Donuts opened in College Park Plaza in Richland Township, and its Facebook page says it’s a gourmet donut shop making fresh 24-hour brioche and cake donuts daily. Local coverage places the shop at 102 College Park Plaza, and the owners said the shop is built around fresh, scratch-made treats and a more homemade feel. Owner Paul Reighard said he wanted to bring back something fresher and less processed for the area, telling reporters, “Batter from scratch every day. Make it fresh every day, fresh and hot. Because everything's frozen nowadays. Everything's processed, no good stuff in town anymore. No more homemade stuff”. That gives Cambria County a locally owned donut stop with a clear identity: scratch-made doughnuts, coffee, milkshakes, and a bright, community-minded opening in Richland. To support the shop, residents can stop in at 102 College Park Plaza in Richland and follow its Facebook page, Doin’ Donuts, for updates. I wasn’t able to verify a current phone number or posted hours from an official page, but one recent post noted that customers should check the shop’s social media for current hours. Jimmy T’s Firehouse PubJimmy T’s Firehouse Pub is located at 526 Main Street in Johnstown and describes itself as a scratch kitchen inspired by the legendary NYC firehouses. The pub’s Facebook page confirms the address, and Apple Maps currently lists regular hours of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The business is tied to the story of local restaurateur Jimmy T’s team, and its concept leans into made-from-scratch food with a firehouse theme that gives downtown Johnstown something distinctive. I couldn’t verify a separate published owner interview with a direct quote, so I’m not inventing one, but the public description makes the business’s niche clear: a scratch-made neighborhood pub with a memorable brand and a central Main Street location. Residents can support Jimmy T’s by visiting 526 Main Street, following the business on Facebook, and using the listed phone number (814) 254-4084 for questions or plans. |
