Pennsylvania Highlands Community College is set to honor its 31st graduating class with a commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15, at 6 p.m.
The event will take place at the Richland Campus Auditorium, located at 101 Community College Way in Johnstown.
Student Senate President and Student Trustee Brian Lanham will deliver the commencement address.
Lanham is slated to receive an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management during the ceremony.
Joining him in addressing the graduates are Penn Highlands President Dr. Steve Nunez, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Janet Grady, Cambria County President Commissioner Scott Hunt, and Faculty Senate President Dr. Robert M. Clark.
The college will also present the Distinguished Graduate Award, recognizing a student who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to both Pennsylvania Highlands and the surrounding community while achieving outstanding academic performance.
For those unable to attend in person, a commencement live stream will be available on the college's YouTube channel.
Guests attending the ceremony should arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. to gain entrance to the auditorium.
Those without tickets will be directed to live-streaming areas on campus, which are also suitable for children to watch.
