Magical Moments for Cambria County Toddler

A 3-year-old girl from St. Michael, Cambria County, recently traded hospital visits for a week filled with laughter and magic at Walt Disney World.

Aniyah, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor shortly after birth, has spent much of her young life in treatment. Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, her dream of visiting Disney and meeting her favorite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse friends finally came true.

Last month, Aniyah and her family traveled to Orlando, where she shared unforgettable moments with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and several Disney princesses during private meet-and-greets arranged just for her.

April marks World Wish Month, a celebration of the longstanding partnership between Make-A-Wish and Disney. Since its founding in 1980, the organization has granted more than 650,000 wishes to children facing critical illnesses—each one a reminder of hope, courage, and the power of imagination.
