As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, Weakland Farms in Cambria County has officially opened its annual corn maze and family-friendly fall activities, marking the start of the autumn season.
Located at 582 Munster Road in Portage, PA, the farm's six-acre corn maze features 1.5 miles of winding paths through towering eight-foot-tall corn stalks. Along the way, visitors can engage with trivia stations, adding an interactive twist to the traditional maze experience.
Beyond the maze, Weakland Farms offers a variety of attractions suitable for all ages. Families can enjoy wagon rides, visit barnyard animals, and explore the pumpkin patch to select the perfect pumpkin for carving or decoration. The farm also provides fall-themed crafts and an indoor play area, ensuring entertainment regardless of the weather.
Special events are scheduled throughout the season, including a Craftastic Craft Show, Car Cruise-In, Paint a Pumpkin Night, Flashlight Night, and Artistry from Scratch Craft Classes. These events aim to enhance the community experience and provide unique activities for returning visitors.
Admission is priced at $10 per person, with children under three admitted free of charge. The farm operates on weekends through October, welcoming guests from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
