What began in 1891 as the Ebensburg Fair — a celebration of harvest, hard work, and hometown pride — has grown into one of the region’s most beloved late‑summer traditions. Thanks to the vision of industrialist Charles M. Schwab and the dedication of local veterans, the American Legion Cambria County Fair has carried its community‑first spirit for well over a century. This year’s fair, running Aug. 31–Sept. 6, 2025, blends that heritage with modern drawcards: country star Aaron Tippin takes the grandstand stage, while the midway hums with rides, livestock shows, and food stands serving everything from fried Oreos to fresh‑pressed cider.
