Cambria Buzz is Sponsored by: Just Love Coffee Cafe - Celebrating 1 Year Anniversary! |
Just Love Coffee Cafe in Northern Cambria is redefining family breakfast with its warm, inventive approach. Owners Mike and Karin Vasil have created a spot where adults enjoy award-winning, ethically sourced coffee, while kids are thrilled by a menu cooked entirely on waffle irons. Located at 2611 Bigler Ave., the cafe’s menu transforms classic omelets and sandwiches into crisp, crave-worthy bites, along with sweet creations just for little ones. Parents can savor a high-quality White Chocolate Tiramisu latte, while everyone has fun with “Dirty Sodas”—like the creamy, flavorful Fizzies. The laid-back, kid-friendly atmosphere makes lingering easy, whether for breakfast, lunch, or a treat. This month, the Vasil family celebrates their cafe’s one-year anniversary on May 30, inviting locals to sample specials and see firsthand how a family-run cafe can brighten the Cambria County morning. Joyce's Jems Consignment & More |
Joyce's Jems Consignment and More in Northern Cambria offers locals a fresh take on shopping by turning gently used treasures into new finds for the community.
Owner Joyce Douglas built her shop around the idea that every item—from designer handbags and dazzling prom dresses to baby clothes and home décor—deserves another chapter.
Residents bring in quality pieces they no longer need, then shoppers browse a boutique-like atmosphere for deals that fit real budgets.
Because people often swap roles as both consignors and buyers, the money spent here circulates locally, creating a unique neighbor-to-neighbor connection.
For those tired of mass-produced fast fashion, Joyce's Jems invites you to shop with heart—where every purchase is a small investment back into the Northern Cambria community.

PolkaFest was founded by “Polish Bill” Marano and his late wife, Debbie, in 1998, aiming to showcase Johnstown’s rich ethnic heritage through music and culture.
The festival quickly grew, with Visit Johnstown joining forces in 2000 to expand its scale and reputation.
High-energy dances moved to the Masonic Temple before the event evolved further, eventually finding a home at St. Mary’s by 2008.
Every year, PolkaFest highlights top national and local polka acts—many Grammy-nominated—and uniquely alternates between Polish and Slovenian styles, a tradition that’s attracted fans for over 25 years.
The festival has also added German, country, and rock-inspired polka, drawing both loyal regulars and younger visitors.
Held the first weekend after Memorial Day, the event brings around 10,000 guests to Johnstown, boosting local tourism and community spirit. Read More... |
